| About Us Our sole job consists of creating and maintaining an environment in which legal professionals and others in the field can share their knowledge and experiences with their peers. Given this responsibility, you probably want to know about our qualifications. Our respective bios appear below. Neil J. Squillante, Publisher Prior to creating and presiding over TechnoLawyer, Neil practiced commercial litigation for four years at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York City. As a Willkie associate, Neil experienced firsthand all aspects of complex civil litigation (including two trials and one mediation), and also engaged in a fair amount of preventive consulting. During this period, Neil served on Willkie's Technology Committee, published a number of legal technology articles in the New York Law Journal and other publications, taught continuing legal education seminars for American Lawyer Media, the New York State Bar Association, and Practising Law Institute, and served as Community Manager for America Online's Legal Technology Forum. Neil received a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and a J.D. from UCLA. At UCLA, Neil served as a Managing Editor of and published an article in the UCLA Law Review. In addition, Neil created and supervised a number of law student activities ranging from Bluebook workshops to a racquetball ladder. Neil refers to these activities as unplugged social networks.
